I got a crock pot for my wedding
I would, on occasion through those years, open a crock pot
I don’t know about you, but if a recipe has more than 5 or 6 ingredients, I lose interest in making it very rapidly.
That, however, is about to change. I am busy. I am exhausted. I am a run-down working and stay-at-home mom. The last thing I have the energy to do every evening is make dinner.
Thus, my goal from now on, is to use my crock pot more often and save myself a great deal of time and a lot of dirty dishes.
I’m sure there are many of you out there who feel the same way. If the number of my Facebook friends who joined that Crockpot fan page after I suggested it is any indication, then there are a whole lot of us who need to make the dinner process a lot easier.
So, I thought I’d help you out – while I help myself out, too. From now on (until this seems like a bad idea), I’m going to post a weekly crock pot menu. These are the recipes I’m going to make this week. I may not have tried them, so I can’t vouch for how good they are, but they are guaranteed to only have a few ingredients – and none of them which are too hard to pronounce.
I figure I’ll post about four a week – and a dessert. (That’s another thing I learned this week! People make DESSERT
So, after this, you’ll see a post of what I plan to make this week. Hope these recipes help you out when it comes to planning your meals (and your grocery list!)

I too am a huge crock pot fan. One of my favorites is BBQ Pulled Pork. McCormick has great spice packets which require very few ingredients to make the whole meal. For instance, the BBQ Pulled Pork spice packet calls for 3lbs boneless pork shoulder roast, 1/2 c ketchup, 1/2 cup brown sugar, 1/3 cup cider vinegar. Cooks 8 hrs LOW or 4 hrs HIGH. We serve on buns with pickles and onions. I highly recommend.
